In Tekken 5, King's 10 Hit Combo can be used as an AI breaker by simply spamming the combo until the first Stagger Kick the CPU will block the punch strings and then attempt to counter the first Stagger Kick but get hit instead, causing them to be stunned by the kick. In later games however, the opponent can simply tech roll before the Stagger Kicks can connect. In Tekken 2, it is possible to perform three Stagger Kicks, or a Stagger Kick Spinning Uppercut and a single Stagger Kick, after the uppercut, resulting in a 12 hit combo. The first Stagger Kick will also cause a sweep fall if it hits a side-on or back-turned opponent.ĭespite the second last hit being a launcher, the recovery from the uppercut (without the following kick or Elbow Drop) is too slow to be useful as a juggle starter. In the original Tekken, the third Stagger Kick caused hit stun just like the original move, however the hit stun was changed to the first and second Stagger Kicks in Tekken 2, and only the first Stagger Kick from Tekken 3 onwards.Īs of Tekken 3, if the uppercut following the Palm Attack hits a side-on or back-turned opponent, it will cause a weak flip-over launch and the rest of the combo will whiff. The combo can also be started with f+2 in place of 1,2, resulting in a 9 hit combo which deals slightly less damage. Starting the combo with f+1 will deal slightly more damage. The final kick is almost always a juggle due to the previous hit launching the opponent the kick will cause knockdown on hit if the preceding uppercut is blocked or whiffs. Due to his limited range and high risk, players must use King cautiously.10 Hit Combo 1 is a combo used by both Kings and Armor King since Tekken.ġ0 Hit Combo 1 is comprised of six individual moves chained together: Palm Attack to Uppercut (or One Two Uppercut when playing as King I or Armor King), Elbow Sting, Smashing Hook, three Stagger Kicks, a left uppercut, and King's u/f+3 jumping roundhouse kick. f 2 d 1 2, 1, 1, 1, f 2 1, W! f 2 1Ĭontrary to popular belief, King is more of a defensive character than an outright offensive one.(Opponent facing down) from the left d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) (Opponent facing the ground) head side d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) (Opponent facing the ground) feet side d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) (Opponent on the back) on the opponent’s side d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) (Opponent on the back) head side d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) (Opponent on the back) feet side d/b+1+3 (or d/b+2+4) While the opponent is knocked out against a wall f,b,d/b,d,d/f,f+1 This is Move list is a list of all of the moves that King can perform in Tekken 7.
